Bitcoin Pins

Bitcoin Pins are a subtle but clear sign to show your support, express your fundamental beliefs and a classy way to be recognized by other Bitcoiners. That's why I bought a pin press, designed and printed pre-cut stickers to make beautiful Bitcoin Pins myself. This satisfies my desire to create something physical and is a great variation to time in front of the computer.

Symbols unite

Deeply sharing common values, similar experiences and a sense of belonging unites people more than anything else. Therefore, groups tend to develop their own symbols to recognize each other. Flags and hand gestures, slogans and logos, representative signs and secret symbols indicate commonality and group affiliation. For Bitcoiners, the ₿ is the most common symbol. The Bitcoin Logo Evolution started with a lo-fi icon designed by Satoshi himself, and continued to the minimalistic orange symbol we use today.

I took the basic design a step further to make 5 different designs into unique and meaningful pins.

5 Beautiful Bitcoin Pin Designs

All the pins are made of a 2,5cm wide circular aluminum baseplate, covered with a clear shiny foil to protect the print itself. In between the aluminum and cover foil is the high quality design print. On the back, a lightweight PVC backplate holds the needle of the pin in place. The pin press puts all these pieces together. Since each pin is handmade, every pin may not be perfect but slightly unique.

Circuit Board Bitcoin Pins

This one is a classic. The round form is a perfect resemblance of a shiny golden coin, with conductor tracks like on a circuit board used in computers, that ultimately do the work of validating and writing each bitcoin block. So this design speaks to the people that are in it for the tech, computers or just love the analogy to a gold coin in Cyberspace.

Earth Bitcoin Pins

Bitcoin is for all people on earth. It incentivizes long-term thinking, sustainable development and eventually unites humanity. That's what the Earth Bitcoin Pins stand for. If you look closely, you see El Salvador next to the top left of the white ₿. The base material of the design print is fingerprint-resistant matte white foil. The pins cover foil adds a unified glow and protective layer to the pins surface – just like Bitcoin does for the world.

Moon Bitcoin Pins

"When Moon?" is a popular meme amongst Bitcoin newcomers, referring to its exchange value to fiat currencies. The Moon Bitcoin Pins relate to this meme on shiny reflective silver foil. The monochrome print is minimalistic and beautiful. Also, the moon influences earth and humanity more than we think. Moves water with tides, which are a vital part of keeping earths ecosystem in balance. It reflects the sun's light, providing guidance at night. Minimalistic & Shiny Bitcoin Pins

This pin is the most minimalistic of all. It's a beautiful combination of a matte black ₿ on top of a shiny golden foil. The outer circle is shiny silver from the raw aluminum foundation underneath. It is clear and goes well with casual and fancy clothing. It is my Standard Bitcoin Pin that I wear daily.
